the results!!We have curry turkey marinating in the fridge. I can’t wait to try it and test out this super grill:P It rained a good bit today and therefor Frisbee was cancelled. I haven’t exercised in over a week. Ugh. My muscles are dripping again like a Dahli painting.
I talked with my mom. We rattled about languages. Both my parents are facinated by German. I’m just proud that they are remotely interested. And I left a message with my Grandmajenny. Happy Mother’s day to all the Muttis out there:blush:
I finally added my Florida Referat on the Deutsch Blog…be gentle. It’s so rough it could satisfy an elephant’s backside.
Oh. Question? Does anyone have suggestions on buying a household drill? We have hard concrete walls/ceiling and we almost killed Max’s drill putting up a kitchen and bathroom lamp. ty

Heather:
You need a hammer drill with a mosonry bit to drill through concrete. It pulses up and down really fast like a hammer to pound through the concrete rather than just the regular screw action. Check out Mekita, DeWalt, or Hitachi. They come Rob recommended – the ultimate tool junkie!
Enjoy! Lisa
Glad your dinner was a hit.
I got paul a cordless drill, and I used it more than he did! The cordless is cool, but it sucks waiting for it to charge.
We didnt get a hammer drill (12? 16? hp it wasnt the 8 hp), just a regular cordless one from home depot ($40-$50). But we did have to buy a masonary drill bit ($3) to drill thru our concrete block walls (home in St Pete).
Paul has a cople of Brazilian women in his class. He said they’ve been all over the world. Didnt you have a couple in your german classes as well?
For tools and stuff its probably best to go to OBI or Praktica
