As a kid, my friends and I couldn’t wait to be tall enough to reach for the controls of our arcade favorites like Space Invaders, Centipede, and Pac-Man. These games were everywhere, most notably in my mind: the bowling alley, roller rink, or Showbiz pizza place. Soon after the ritual begging for quarters, the hunt was on for an empty barstool and hope that the pimple-face teenagers were satisfied with their top-score so we could get a lick at the stick. Who would have thought that now you can compress that technology in a blog post? A bet those coin-operated arcade machines are still solid hunks in landfills today.
Below is a widget. And yes the game is fully operational. No quarters needed. Just use the arrow keys to move your pac-man. Look out the ghosts are really fast!

I lost all 3 lives within 11 seconds!
Yeah, pretty bad. And I was offered to sign my name in the high score area! But: Auch ich habe meinen Stolz!
Your new site looks excellent.
@Ingo: Man! That’s pretty, um, bad. You gotta move your fingers faster
I can’t even get through the first level, the cherries escape me.
@Ingo: I don’t care if it is rigged, it’s a confidence booster for sure.
Thanks for the kudos. It looks less pirate to me, endlich so geil!
