Pickle races used to be big in Australia too...especially those unnecessarily found on cheeseburgers...not sure if the practice continues today, but it sounds like it might have been a globally recognised sport for a while at least.

I remember back in Canada riding my bike along the highway near Quesnel, BC and somebody threw an egg at me as they sped by. Splattered everywhere on the handlebars, and I was still picking bits out of nooks and crannies years later. Nastiness everywhere. Welcome to the world.

Urgh, as a bicycle commuter my bike is very precious to me. Somebody pulling a prank like that on it would get me royally pissed. Granted it's fairly easily fixed, but still, it's my bike, y'know?
