IMGAfter three attempts to close this baby up, yeah, it’s done. Maybe it’s a row or two too short but it is in the range I’m looking for and I was running out yarn. oops!

It’s a definite that I should take a break but I really like this pattern and silly me bought some more yarn in another color to make a matching scarf and hat. Perhaps I’m feeling too confident in my knitting ability to start thinking up gifts. Hopefully this next project will be done before winter ends. If you can call this winter. I can’t imagine this knitting spiel could play into summer.

P.S. yes, the pattern is a Koolhaas Hat.

Great hat - well done! I'm impressed by anyone who can make their own clothes (or accessories).

Ohhh, this is very nice indeed - looks lovely. I haven't tried to knit anything of the clothing variety apart from a scarf, but perhaps a hat will be good to try next.

    Thanks everyone for your comments!

@Chris: I feel the same way. Since I've started knitting, it has been a mystery revealed.

@Maribeth: I bet one of the dackle babies would look cute in this pattern!

@Tracey: Oh, do try. Winter is heading your way. The exciting part is making the crown..as well as the tricky part.

If you are wondering, where’s Heza? She’s racked up for the next few months with course material in economics. Tons of ideas still fill her brain. Maybe a few will fall out here. As always, thanks for checking in ^_^
