Those are fantastic! Some of my favorite gifts that we got when Z was born were the homemade ones.

Hi,

I'm not a serious knitter, just dabble in it here and there, but have hung around Ravelry enough I'm pretty sure F.O. means 'finished object'.

You did really well on the booties! :) They're perfect. Of all the gifts I've received for my children over the years the ones that meant the most were handmade.

Precious! I remember Ping teaching me how to knit and I got frustrated so easily.

Those look fancy! I've never progressed beyond scarves and frozen water bottle cozies (don't ask).

Thanks everyone for the comments!

@AFM - aw, I was hoping that was true!

@Lisa - TY, TY. Now I know. It's an object.

@Melody - Skilled I am not. It's very helpful to have friend show you the ropes. And there are videos on the net for free.

@Polly - I found a way of knitting that's pretty ugly looking and slow but it gets the job done without the frustration. It's become my agnostic way of rubbing a string of beads.

@Jul - It takes mad skillz to make a proper cozie. They'll always be treasured. Show me how!
